20062010: Mr. Akhil Walia pursued advanced business education by securing admission to IIM Bangalore, further enhancing his business acumen.
2011-2012: After completing his studies, Mr. Akhil Walia gained practical experience in the FMCG sector. He learned about CNF distribution models, secondary sales, and primary sales, which laid the groundwork for his future entrepreneurial endeavors.
20102012: Mr. Akhil Walia founded Adlof Overseas, a partnership company specializing in import and export services. The company began importing various types of glass from Pakistan through the Wagah border, marking the start of its business operations.
2012-2017: Adlof Overseas expanded its import operations to include glass products from Pakistan, the Middle East, China, and other regions. The company established a strong market presence in North India and became a prominent player in the glass import industry.
20122017: Building on the success of Adlof Overseas, Mr. Akhil Walia established Walia Global Ventures (WGV). The new entity continued import/export operations and expanded its portfolio.
20172018-2019: WGV diversified into certification services, offering consultancy for ISI, ISO, and other licenses. The company worked with foreign and domestic manufacturers to meet higher quality standards. Additionally, WGV expanded into importing products like soda ash, methanol, glassware, glass blocks, and sodium bicarbonate.
WGV established an LLP firm in Australia and joined the Australia-India Chamber of Commerce, strengthening its international presence and building robust global relationships
20182019-2020: WGV entered the facade, fenestration, and fabrication sectors, providing custom door and window systems, glass railings, and partitions for prestigious clients.
2019By 2024, WGV had also ventured into patterned glass and solar glass markets
